Married At First Sight’s Coco Stedman admits she ‘loves her job more than her ex-fiancé’ as the participants’ audition tapes are revealed

Married At First Sight kicked off its new season on Monday night.
And the audition tapes for this year’s participants have now been revealed as the hopeful singletons begin their journey to finding love.
The footage aired on A Current Affair before the first episode of MAFS, and the stars’ candid confessions are quite fascinating.

Brisbane native Jason Engler didn’t hold back when describing the type of woman he wanted to be matched with.
The 35-year-old also had a very specific – and bizarre – request about what he was looking for in a partner.
‘My ideal in looks would be brunette, shorter than me, fit, nice teeth and feet. I hate ugly feet,’ he said.

Coco Stedman called herself a ‘decent package’ but confessed she loved her job as a Pilates studio owner more than she ever loved her ex-fiancé.
‘My fiancé knew I loved my job more than him because your job isn’t going to wake up and tell you he doesn’t love you anymore,’ she said.
‘I’m one of those people who is independent but wants to be with someone… I know that I am a pretty decent package.’

Meanwhile, radio presenter Bryce Ruthven said he doesn’t like dating apps and prefers meeting people the old-fashioned way.
‘If you can’t go and meet someone out in everyday life than you probably deserve to be single,’ he said.
Psych graduate Beth Moore, 39, also expressed her desire to start a family.
‘There is a part of me that has to accept it might not happen at my age, but I’ve always felt sad about the thought of not having a child. I do have a lot of love to give,’ she said.
Business manager Rebecca ‘Beck’ Zemek, 27, admitted she can be quite flirtatious.

Hairdresser Joanne Todd also described herself as ‘cute but psycho’ and said she ‘hates her life at the moment’.
Belinda Vickers admitted in her audition tape that she’d never had a boyfriend.
‘At this age I thought maybe [never being in a relationship] has something to do with my personality. From my friends point of view, they find my voice annoying.’
Married At First Sight groom Russell Duance spoke about his split to his ex-wife after just one year of marriage.
‘I got married in 2015 and we split up in 2015. Technically married her twice because I met her in Vegas in August,’ he explained.
