Popular human rights activist and Convener of the Revolution Now movement, Omoyele Sowore has suggested that the All Progressives Congress have scammed Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, ex-President Goodluck Jonathan and CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele. The presidential aspirant contesting on the platform of the African

Action Congress made this disclosure in a post on his verified Facebook handle few hours ago.

This statement is coming amidst the ongoing national convention of the ruling party at Eagle Square, Abuja. It has been reported that 6 presidential aspirants including Governors Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State and Senator Ibikunle Amosun stepped down for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. On the other hand, it was revealed that only one aspirant has stepped down and endorsed Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

As a result, many Nigerians online have opined that the former governor of Lagos State, Tinubu may emerge as the party’s flag bearer.

Few weeks ago, both Goodluck Jonathan and Godwin Emefiele were alleged to be eyeing the All Progressives Congress presidential ticket. However, none of the duo was listed among the aspirants screened by the party according to reports. This probably led to Sowore’s submission that Jonathan, Osinbajo and Emefiele have been scammed.
