Which areas of England are in Tier 4?

Kent, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Surrey (excluding Waverley), Gosport, Havant, Portsmouth, Rother and Hastings;

London (all 32 boroughs and the City of London); and the East of England (Bedford, Central Bedford, Milton Keynes, Luton, Peterborough, Hertfordshire, Essex excluding Colchester, Uttlesford and Tendring).

He said: ‘People who know me who are close to me that I’m scared of everything so that’s the real me

‘Before filming, we had something to eat, and it was lamb hotpot and I wolfed it down. And just before we went on air, I looked over the cliff and I felt [made a sick face].’

On what it’s like being back to normal life, he said: ‘It’s been good, hectic, some days are busier than others. Been great to get back on radio, that’s what I do and that’s what keeps me grounded.’

Jordan also joked that after spending three weeks in the castle camp he is still having to use camp chairs, after a pal he was borrowing a sofa from needed it back.

The interview comes amid reports Jordan being lined up for a promotion at the BBC after winning over millions of new fans on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

The Radio 1 DJ finished as runner-up to Giovanna Fletcher on this year’s series and his profile is now bigger than ever.

According to The Sun, Jordan, who hosts on the weekends and as a cover presenter, will be meeting with radio bosses this week to discuss a mainstream move for 2021.

A source said: ‘Jordan is the host of the weekend show and is known as the supply teacher because of the amount of times he has covered for Nick Grimshaw and Scott Mills.

‘But now his team are working on landing him a spot with a bigger audience. As far as Jordan is concerned, the sky is the limit now and he appeals to everyone – not just Radio 1 listeners.’

Along with an increased presence on the airwaves, the insider added Jordan is also being lined up for panel shows and other TV appearances.

WHAT ARE THE TIER 4 RULES?

London has been plunged into Tier 4, with a ‘stay at home’ order issued by the Prime Minister

Residents must not leave their home to travel unless for work, education, or other ‘legally permitted reason,’ and the public has also been told not to leave or enter a Tier 4 region

The new rules scuppered Christmas plans for many, who had previously been told they could mix in ‘family bubbles’ for five days over the festive period

They said: ‘Jordan’s profile is going to be raised massively in the next few months and the plan, along with getting him a more coveted spot on air, is to get him back on the box. Along with panel shows, Jordan is destined for his own series after easily becoming the stand-out star of this year’s show.’

Jordan became a fan favourite during his time in Gwrych Castle as he faced many of his fears, during the show’s Bushtucker Trial, including his intense phobia of snakes.

MailOnline has contacted representatives for Jordan North and BBC Radio for comment.
