Kasem – who hosted American Top 40 – left behind an estimated fortune of $80 million when he passed at age 82.

Jean Kasem became locked in a five-year legal battle for her husband’s fortune, which was finally settled at the end of 2019.

Kasem’s three children from his first marriage filed a wrongful death lawsuit against their stepmom, claiming she mistreated their father before he died.

However, she retained control of the Los Angeles estate.
